Schicke Dir nun erst die Dir versprochene Karte. Ich bin hier nachts um 1 Uhr angekommen, Mutter war gerade noch auf. Hier geht es soweit gut. Es ist hier blos ein bischen reichlich kalt. Rudolph ist noch hier aber macht vielleicht auch weg. Ich hatte eigentlich schon lange eine Karte von Dir erwartet.

I finally am sending you the card I promised you. I arrived here at 1 o’clock at night. Mother was still up. Here everybody is well, the only thing its very cold here. Rudolph is still at home, but maybe he is going away too. I was waiting for a long time for a card from you.
