Deinen lieben Brief habe ich erhalten, meinen besten Dank dafür Ich wollte gleich wieder schreiben hatte aber so schlecht Zeit, dann ist es auch bei uns so weitläufig, nehme es mir also nicht übel. Trete Morgen Mittwoch meine neue Stellung an. Von da aus bald möglichst mehr.

I received your lovely letter and thank you for it. I indended to reply right away, but I didn’t have the time, as the walk is so long [to the post-office(?)]. Please don’t be cross with me. On Wednesday morning I will start my new job, and will write you more from there.
